Knowledge4Africa has embarked upon an exciting new adventure. We are under new
management
and looking to do some things differently.
OK, it's still me at the helm, with Rosann keeping me balanced and Graeme doing the critical technical
things (as always). But we've dropped the NPO status and we therefore have no-one watching over
our
shoulder telling us what we can't do.
There's a good reason why we've chosen this route. Importantly, we believe we can make our own
way,
paying for everything ourselves and without sponsorship. And that means we can survive without the
necessity for meetings and continually notifying the Department of our activities.
We're free!
And we can embark upon challenges without the need to consult people. Which means we can
also
serve you (the teachers, learners and students) much more efficiently.
We can also offer you other goodies from time to time. Things like extra worksheets
but where we don't yet have enough to create a dedicated folder.
Hamlet comes to mind, as does Pride and Prejudice. Perhaps something
on Animal Farm or Romeo and Juliet.
So watch this page carefully and visit us often. We'll let you know when there's
something new by means of the logo (with date) in the centre of the black bar on each and every page.
Please therefore have a
look each and every time you visit Knowledge4Africa.

Did you know that I'm writing a series of six novels (all dealing with History) which I'm hoping you will
want
to read?
In fact, I'm so eager that you do read at least one that I'm going
to
offer you the first novel absolutely free! Keep watching this space.
In this series, Bronnie and Jelly become friends with an aging man of wisdom, whom their father
calls "The Time Traveller". They'd found him (lost) near their home. His background is a
mystery but he is a hive of information about anything to do with the past.
In this way begins their exciting journey through time and space. Be warned though. This
is a simple story about history where you are invited to participate in the search for the truth but
accepting nothing as fact.
You are asked at every step of the journey to share the idea that the past is always a mystery,
one of the greatest. But, if you're not enjoying it, you've perhaps missed the exciting stuff and
need to start all over again. This time, try reading something more entertaining.
